That is stupid, your mom is being selfish. It is a very short operation, and it will change your life forever! 20 min outpatient surgery. It's not a big deal. You should do it. If it gets worse, you could die from it. I would get it fixed asap. The reason they all have it is because it's a "defect" but easily corrected.

Your website came up during an internet search on Frankadua, Ghana. We are recently returned from there, and are bringing the director of the BVTC to Midland, MI. Thought you might like to know. Attached is our invitation letter to this event. Just in case you are interested.

Regards,
Allen Ross 989-636-6825

In June of this year, a twelve member mission team from First Baptist Church was called to serve in Frankadua, Ghana. Sponsored by the Ghana Baptist Convention, our mission team witnessed firsthand many works of God in Ghana, including those at the Baptist Vocational Training Center (BVTC).

We are so honored to invite you to come hear the BVTC story told by its director, the Reverend Grace Akunor. Rev. Akunor will touch your heart with stories of her students who through the grace of God have been rescued from Trokosi slavery and given an opportunity to begin a new life at the BVTC. The students learn catering, dress-making, hair dressing and construction skills for sustainable employment in the future.

Through the generous support of the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts, the BVTC has a beautiful new dormitory equipped with modern day conveniences of electricity, running water and plumbing. The school has delayed its move to the new dormitory awaiting funding for a new kitchen and dining hall. We hope that upon hearing Rev. Akunor’s message, you too may be called to support God’s work at BVTC by helping BUILD A KITCHEN – BUILD A FUTURE.

Please join us Saturday, November 6, at 7 p.m. at the Barstow-Shipps Wing of the Midland Community Center. It is sure to be a memorable and heart-felt evening. If you would like to learn more about the mission trip, please visit our website at www.fbcghana2010.com.

God’s blessings,
