William headed off on his last long trip today. He is going to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, then Abidjan, Ivory Coast, then back to Burkina to the city of Bobo Dioulasso, and finally back home on December 16th.
Please pray for his safety as he travels and crosses borders. Pray also that his time with the media team in Abidjan is productive as they redesign the regional website. Pray for the vision trip team he will be joining in Burkina Faso as they begin outreach with the unreached Pana people group.

This morning I assisted Dr. Faile in the c-section for the woman with the pregnancy in her umbilical hernia.

The desaturated look I applied to the photo I posted 2 days ago really grew on me. I decided to try it on another shot I took of a patient Heidi was examining on clinic day.

Last week I visited the Northern Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary in Tamale, a large town southwest of Nalerigu. IMB missionaries Pat and Peggy Ozment have been there for 11 months with Pat serving as a lecturer and Peggy as librarian.

I tell ya what – I’d wear a pink knit hat like that… but not when it is 90 degrees outside!

Several weeks ago I posted information about umbilical hernias and mentioned a very rare case we saw. A woman’s uterus had slipped into her umbilical hernia and she was 32 weeks pregnant. She was admitted to the hospital then and put on bed rest until a c-section could be done.
I thought I would post an updated photo of her and ask you to pray for her and Dr. Faile as they will most likely be doing the c-section tomorrow.

Talk about the breakfast of champions! This is what I’ve been eating every morning. They may not taste all that great but staring at the genius artwork while I eat makes me forget about all that.
I’m a bit perplexed by the yellow burst in the bottom right stating “NEW Improved”. I didn’t know you could improve on raw oats all that much. Maybe the old version was just white and not super white.
I know one thing for sure – if David Brent saw these he would point a finger and say “Racial.”
